Railway Budget 2013-2014 will be presented in the Parliament of India in the month of this February, 2013 by the Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal. “Whether there will be further hike or not, I have not said anything so far,” he told reporters after inaugurating an exhibition of Khadi and Village Industries Commission here.
Railway Ministry already increased fare about 20% in all class. So, it is most important budget for all common people. Indian Railways haven’t increased ticket prices since 10 years in a row. So, it is very difficult for them to survive. They don’t want to take any chance as happened with Air India.
Indian Railways is one of the largest rail network in the World. So, Ministry of Railways wants to improve the performance of railways in terms of train frequencies, customers satisfaction and fast development of railway network throughout the India with normal ticket prices.
We hope that Railway Budget 2013-2014 will provide best facilities to all Indian people for reasonable fare. We hope that Railways will provide equal attention to all states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Mizoram, Sikkim, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and others.
So, let’s wait for the announcement of Rail Budget 2013-2014.
